Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Get!

Yesterday, Valve updated their Steam service last night by informing anyone who had pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2 will be able to pre-load it on their Steam account, however the actual demo won’t be able to be played until this coming Tuesday. A quick trip down to my local GameStop also confirmed that the Left 4 Dead 2 beta codes had arrived, eagerly awaiting someone to come and pick it up.
So if you have pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2 from GameStop for either Xbox 360 or PC, or have already ordered it via Steam, then make sure you get your beta codes and fast. As the GameStop associate informed me that their supplies were limited. What’s more important for those who reserved their copy at GameStop, the PC version will contain the code that will unlock both the demo and the exclusive baseball bat, whereas the 360 will have two individual codes, one now for the demo and one later for the bat.
Both the Xbox 360 demo and the PC demo will be available to be played on October 27th. Left 4 Dead 2 will launch simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PC on November 17th.
