This is the news that many of us have been waiting for.  Gamestop has announced that a good chunk of their North American stores will stay open for a midnight release for both Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Brutal Legend.  Talk about a double whammy!   Great news for gamers who plan on picking both games up.  Good luck splitting your time between the two!

I already have my copy of Uncharted 2 pre-ordered through Amazon, and I’ve been unsure about Brutal Legend.  I doubt I’ll pick that up on release, maybe I’ll get it when it drops below $30.

Either way, check with your local Gamestop store to see if they plan on staying open until Midnight.  And if they don’t, ask them why the hell not.
