‘Dragon Age: Origins’ Collector’s Edition!

After a long day at work, I had this to come home to:

Yes, that’s the shiny, shiny, shiny Collector’s Edition of Dragon Age: Origins for Xbox 360. Yay! So why did I get the 360 version of this multi-platform game? See the sticker on the right-hand side, the one mentioning the Mass Effect 2 in-game item? Yeah…

For those of you wondering what the Dragon Age: Origins Collectors Edition for the Xbox 360 looks like, I took pictures!

After taking the plastic slip cover off the metal case:

Pretty! But what’s inside?

Working from the top of the picture down, the Xbox 360 version comes with a cloth map of the Dragon Age: Origins world, instruction booklet, and a bunch of downloadable content, including:

• Bergen’s Honor item
• Final Reason item
• Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes item
• The Stone Prisoner downloadable quest with downloadable character Shale
• Blood Dragon Armor for both Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2
• Feral Wolf Charm and Memory Band (doesn’t really count as these are exclusive in-game items for those who reserved their copies at GameStop)

The CD you see is the bonus disc, which includes:

• Making-of featurette
• Concept art montage
• Game soundtrack
• Wallpapers
• Strategy video

That should be enough to keep this BioWare fangirl occupied, no?

I haven’t played enough of the game to form an opinion on it, but look for a review on the main page soon! For those curious, I’m playing as a human female mage named Revan–because I lack imagination.
