Sony Releases “Welcome Back” Details
Yesterday, as part of it’s ongoing PlayStation Network restoration process, Sony released information regarding the “Welcome Back” appreciation program which will be made available shortly after all PSN services are fully online.
All PS3 customers will be eligible to download two free games from a list of five: Dead Nation, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, and Wipeout HD + Fury. PSP owners will be able to select two of the following games: LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Pursuit Force, or Killzone Liberation.
In addition to game downloads, a selection of “On Us” movie rentals will be made available for a weekend, and PlayStation Home will offer over 100 free virtual items and content. Also, existing PlayStation Plus customers will receive an additional 60 day subscription, whereas non members will receive a 30 day free trial.
