Back to the Future Episode 2 is now available!

For those of you who purchased Back to the Future: The Game you will be happy know that Episode 2, “Get Tannen” is now available (Actually it has been for a couple of days now, but I just got the email last night). Episode 1 is also now available for the iPad and PS3. I alread subscribed to the first season on the PC but am interested in seeing how they play on the other platforms, maybe do a comparison review.

Episode 2 of Back to the Future: The Game picks up immediately after the first episode, with Marty starting to be erased from time again (like in the original film). Now Marty needs to travel a few hours into the past to save his grandfather Arthur McFly from meeting the same fate that was planned for Doc in the previous episode, while trying to avoid running into his past self. From there it starts to take notes from the second film where Marty and Doc need to travel back and forth in time to prevent another alternate 1985 from becomming the main time stream. I played about 45 minutes of it last night and it is quite engaging so far, especially the opening, which is rather fast paced for a point and click game (don’t worry though, you can take all the time you need, it just appears to be fast paced because of the story).

I’ll be getting up a review hopefully in the next few days (though I have one or two games to finish and writeup on before that), but it is going to be very similar to my review of Episode 1.

Back to the Future: The Game Episodes 1 and 2 are now available for the PC and Mac platforms at a cost of 24.99 for the whole season. Episode 1 is also available for the iPad at 6.99 and PS3 at a cost of 19.99 for the whole season.
