EverQuest launches in-game armor system

For the first time ever, EverQuest players can now access an all-new armor system. Part of EQ‘s latest game update, Hero’s Forge, the new armor system will allow players to dramatically update their in-game character’s appearance through multiple color variations and styles — opening a whole new world of visual customization!
Based on their preferred armor class, players who purchase the new system will receive a Hero’s Forge Plate, Hero’s Forge Chain, Hero’s Forge Leather, or Hero’s Forge Cloth starter set. Further armor upgrades are available throughout Norrath through achievements, missions in current content, NPC drops, raids and raid bosses. With more than 10,000 individual Hero’s Forge items, and hundreds available to any particular character, players will have the freedom to express their individuality.
The new update also features brand new lore for users to experience: players will watch as Lanhern and Ton Firepride dawn the idea of using new armor designs to invoke fear in their enemies and bring confidence to their heroes.
