New gamer movie hits Philly scene October 17

Not since “Harry Met Sally” have we seen a movie so riveting, so intense, so… um, er… ok, that was just a bit dramatic, but seriously speaking folks. We have a great new short film about gamers from Crossbow Studio called “Level Up.”

Releasing on October 17 in Philly.

And no, it’s not from the Level Up News staff. Although, I think Mr. Arceo might play a very convincing joystick Romeo. But I digress.

The film is about two high-schoool friends whose budding relationship is based on their mutual love of video games. I know, the perfect relationship right?

Wrong. Can you imagine your girlfriend (or boyfriend for the girls reading this) beating you in a game of Final Fantasy. Picture the dinner table talk afterward. Ok, who am I kidding. You two don’t have a table, you’re gamers.

Again, I digress. Regardless, I’ve seen the trailer it it looks fairly interesting. Check it out on Vimeo.
