Super Link Bros? Can happen in Super Mario Crossover

explodingRabbit at Newgrounds takes the concept of Super Smash Bros one step further, and has created one of the most awesome flash games I’ve seen in a while: Super Mario Crossover. Now fans can play the original Super Mario Bros as Link, Samus (Metroid), Mega Man, Simon Belmont (Castlevania), or Bill Rizer (Contra).

Each character comes with their signature abilities, which gives it more than just as sprite copy/paste feel. Keyboard controls are reversed from the original Nintendo controller, but that’s okay. The game is still really cool. I’ve played as Samus (girl power!) and Mega Man so far, and can’t decide which one I like better.
