Fallout 3 GOTY $40

Seriously, coming across some awesome video game deals is a great way to start the week.  Just a few minutes ago I posted a PS3 deal for Bionic Commando for $16.99 shipped, and now we have Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition for $40 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.  The deal is offered by Target but it appears the game is only available in stores, so check the store locator!

And just when I thought I wasn’t going to buy any video games this week…

The folks over at Cheapassgamer have reported an important update:

It seems that there has been a mix up between the original Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 GOTY DPCI’s on the Target website. The B&M Targets do *NOT* have the GOTY edition in stock for $40. However, there have been multiple people (including myself) who have been able to print out this page and price match at Best Buy for $40. Several people have also had success price matching at Walmart, but it seems to be hit or miss depending on which Walmart you go to.

That being sad, this deal will be YMMV, good luck to those who try and go for it!
