Best Buy deal – Tritton AX 180 Headset $50

Starting this Sunday, Best Buy has the Tritton AX 180 Universal Gaming Headset on sale for $49.99.  The AX 180 Universal Gaming Headset works on the Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, PC, and Mac, and retails for $69.99 normally.

I actually tested out these headphones for about a week, and was pretty happy with the results.  Setup was quick and easy, and the both the microphone and audio quality was better then expected.   In the end though, I decided to spend the extra cash and get the Tritton AX 720 Dolby Digital Gaming Headset.  Both are great headsets and fit my needs (having multiple gaming systems), but I liked the overall design of the AX 720 better and wanted 3D surround sound.

The Tritton AX 180 was a very good headset though, especially for $50.  If you own at least 2 or 3 gaming systems and only want to use one headset, check out either the AX 180 or the AX 720.
